Church Addition – Desloge, MO

This second floor is supported by the rigid frame rafters and jack-beam system above because of the desire to have a clear, open youth common area below the second floor. In addition, the remainder of the building has a full basketball court with an overhead-walking track around it. The roof was completed with 6″ Tectum Composite Panel decking surfaced with composition shingles and the walls were completed with a brick veneer finish. This area of Missouri has some significant seismic issues, which had to be addressed as well.
